El Dorado County lies on the western border of Sacramento County. It ascends from the suburban foothills just outside Sacramento to the lofty ski resorts of the Sierra mountains and Lake Tahoe. Indeed, our prices and the natural beauty of the land have fueled a fairly large migration of many home buyers from the Bay Area.
